I don't know much about Chromebooks. Here are some guesses. If you have comments, suggestions, or know of good tutorials, please let me know.
If you're a confident geek, you can run Linux on a Chromebook with Crostini. Then you can run VSCode, and everything else. Yay!
What if you're not a geek? Read on.
There are two tasks:
- Creating and editing HTML and CSS files
- Uploading files to your web server
Creating and editing HTML and CSS files
VSCode doesn't run on Chromebooks. There are several other apps you can use to make these files. A popular one is Caret.
Uploading to your web server
You can use the cPanel file explorer. It works in a browser. No worries!
FileZilla doesn't run on Chromebooks. There are alternatives, like this one.
